Detallamos todas las curiosidades de Blood Stone

• Aunque el juego no fue anunciado oficialmente hasta el 16 de julio de 2010, se desvelo cuando el dominio bloodstonethegame.com fue registrado el 21 de abril.
• El Motor del juego es conocido como “Bespoke engine”, propiedad de Bizarre Creations.
• En el videojuego de Bizzarre Creation Proget Gotam Racing para Xbox 360, había un guiñó a 007 en un escenario donde aparecía un castillo llamado “Casino Royale”.
• El juego no contó con ninguna demo.
• El juego cuenta con un elevado número de takedowns (muertes rápidas), hasta 69 diferentes en función del contexto en que nos encontremos.
• Podremos completar las misiones con una aproximación agresiva o sigilosa. Tal y como Bond lo haría.
• El equipo de desarrollo viajó hasta Estambul y Bangkok para tomar fotografías y videos como inspiración para la creación de los escenarios donde transcurrirá el juego.
• El doble de Craig en las películas, Ben Cooke, proporcionó la coreografía de la animación de Bond. El cual aparece acreditado como coordinador de especialistas.
• Bond no había vuelto a protagonizar un juego en tercera persona desde “Todo o nada”.
• Es el primer videojuego desde “Todo o Nada”, en el que la historia es totalmente original y no se basa en ninguna película.

• Estuvo planeada una secuela desarrollada por Raven Software. Al igual que en Blood Stone estaba pensado para ser jugado en tercera persona donde los combates cuerpo a cuerpo tendrían una gran importancia. • Tal y como ocurrió con el resto de juegos de Activision de Bond, a principios de 2013 desapareció de las tiendas digitales como Steam, Xbox live y PS Network.
• Al empezar la misión de Estambul. Bond intentará entrar en la obra sin casco, algo que le recriminan, como le ocurrió en Panorama para matar.
• Una de las voces sin acreditar es de Sarah Hadland que hizo de recepcionista en el Ocean Sky del film Quantum of Solace.
• En Mónaco Bond visita el mismo casino que en GoldenEye.
• En Tailandia conduciremos una grúa que remolca un Tuk Tuk, un guiñó a Octopussy.
• El Juego termina con la frase habitual de “James Bond Volverá”.
• A pesar de no salir oficialmente ninguna traducción oficial al español, un fan publicó una versión modificada del juego con menús y subtítulos en español para PC.

• Una marca inventada aparece a menudo en letreros de publicidad. GO7 Bebida Energética, aunque sí que existe una empresa llamada “GO”. La “G” y la “O” de GO se parece bastante al 0, por lo que parece que pone 007. Así que parece un mensaje de ánimo a Bond como queriendo decir. ¡¡Vamos 007!!. Aparece en Estambul y en Tailandia. En el cartel rosa además incluye la frase “Déjate llevar”.
• Otro misterioso cartel aparece en Estambul de una empresa ficticia de contratistas. Podría ser la encargada de las obras de Estambul.
• En Tailandia veremos este curioso cartel donde nos instan a conducir con cuidado, ya que no es un juego y firmado por el ayuntamiento de Bangkok. Está claro que Bond no hizo mucho caso al cartel en su persecución.
• El viejo amigo de Bond, Silk, posee el club Tassels Night club.  Que se promociona con estos carteles por Tailandia. Como curiosidad Tassels significa Borlas, un grupo de hilos trenzados que tienen la forma de una falda de mujer.
• Carteles anunciando el acuario que acabamos de visitar en Tailandia. Incluso podemos ver su horario y la frase “Una fiesta para los sentidos”.
• Cartel de Tailandia en el que muestra un área protegida de la ciudad por su importancia histórica donde poco después estaremos para encontrar a Rak.
• Mientras perseguimos al asesinó que envió Rak para matar a Ping y cerca del puerto de Rak nos encontramos con un anunció de reparación de barcos del propio Rak.
