Las melodías aparecidas en la segunda aventura oficial de James Bond y el álbum que originaron
Empezando con Desde Rusia con amor, John Barry se convertiría en el mayor contribuidor musical de la serie. La película presenta el memorable tema de Barry ‘007‘ que aparecería a menudo en varias de las futuras películas de Bond. Su éxito es realmente merecido y mezcla el ‘James Bond Theme’ con la canción principal. 
Los títulos iniciales presentan la versión instrumental de la canción, y la versión vocal de Matt Monro se escucha en los créditos finales. Los productores optaron por Monro después de que el propio Frank Sinatra rechazara interpretar el tema principal, hasta la fecha el único intérprete en hacelo.
